Trapeze tailpiece with floating ebony bridge. 7-ply top & back binding with 7-ply bound oval soundhole. Neck is straight, but truss rod is pretty much maxed out.īody: Hollow maple body with Florentine cutaway. Diecast tuners in perfect working condition. Bound headstock with abalone floral inlay. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Neck: Slender profile maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. ![]() Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.Ĭosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean with some mild surface scratches. ![]() An exceptionally well-made copy at a much more affordable price than the Gibson original. This late '70s Model E-72 made by Penco is a Japanese "lawsuit" guitar based on the Howard Roberts model produced by Gibson during the same time period, with more or less all the same hallmark features - Florentine cutaway with oval soundhole & floating neck humbucker. ![]()
